Used during installation and maintenance of the sensor. Contains all items required to field calibrate the EEx Sentry™ in a foam lined attaché style carrying case. When installed on the sensor frame, it allows a known amount of light to be scattered from the transmitter to the receiver. Each Fixture is calibrated with its matching EEx Sentry™ and contains the same serial number.
The non-ATEX heaters are 23 x 40 cm silicone rubber surface heaters installed under both the TX & RX hoods. Each is rated for 250 VA operation at 240 VAC power and is thermostatically controlled. The thermostat is imbedded into the heater and designed to close at 4° C and open at 16° C. The power to the hood heaters must be capable of being turned OFF automatically under control of the local explosive gas monitoring system.
